“Human diversity makes tolerance more than a virtue; it makes it a requirement for survival.”

How do I start to describe myself? In 1995, someone gave a talk on how the world was going to end in the Armageddon at a meeting where I was present with my mum and it was a really scary experience for a child like me in his first decade of life.
How could all this beauty go up in flames just like that? In the midst of the terror that had engulfed me, something stayed with me. What if we humans can do something about it? I was told as a child not to bother doing anything about it because it was our common destiny in the universe. I could not bring myself to believe that assertion.
Today, I know that despite all the chaos that goes on in numerous parts of the planet from human causes and completely natural processes; we all have the power to decide in what direction we want to steer our destiny as a species and as custodians of life on earth.
The idea to start Humanity Spring as a platform for sensitization and interaction on global issues of the planet, its flora and fauna and the wonderful people and animals that live in it first came to me around 2011 during a similar lecture like I had in 1995. The difference was that I was surrounded this time by scientists willing to take action for positive change. I am happy that you are reading this today and I hope that you may be inspired to take action from reading articles we post. I look forward to interacting with you as we exchange ideas on the best path to take in order to preserve the sanctity of life on earth, defend human rights and spur global development. Thank you for being here.
